Resistance by Queensryche is track seven from the Empire album. The drum chart is wonderfully straight ahead, just watch out for the shifting time signatures which go between 7/4, 3/4/ & 4/4! As with all the other Queensryche charts, if you can count, you’ll be able to play! The drum part once again fits perfectly with the both the guitar and bass parts so it’s worth listening to them as well in order to get the timings spot on. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning the use of the china cymbal! It’s used a whole lot in this track and you’ll need to make sure its easily reachable from the Ride in order to maximise the usage.
