Released in 1977 after being recorded in South Wales, Closer to the Heart has been played on the majority of Rush tours since its release. It has also been inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame back in March 2010.
The track is definitely one of the more straight ahead Rush tracks and will always bring a smile to your face when you’ve played it providing you’ve got enough Tom-Toms!
