London, 1994. Oasis release their first single in the form of this track, Supersonic. Although the track only made it to number 34 in the UK charts, it paved the way for the start of what became known as Brit Pop which became a huge musical movement typified by both Oasis and Blur.
As with many of Oasis’ songs, the drumming is not technically demanding, but requires the player to hold a groove for long periods of time before slight, subtle changes or fills. Each cymbal crash is impeccably timed to support the song.
